Preschool (2 years & 1 year before kindergarten)

Welcome to the Preschool department of Discovery Land! Your Preschooler will have so much fun “Discovering Eternal Treasures” as we Bring the Bible to Life! That’s the name of our Sunday program – “BTB2Life” and it’s what we do in Preschool.

In Discovery Land we believe in “Total Time Teaching”, so the fun and learning begins the moment you walk through our doors!

If you have never been to BTB2Life – stop by the family registration desk when you arrive.  They will assist you with everything you need.

If your preschooler is already registered, their nametag will be posted on the nametag wall. (Please note that the tags are changed every service. If your preschooler is attending a different service from the one they are registered at, please stop at the Information Booth for nametags.) 

Then, you take your preschooler to the Wrist-Band area where each child and the adult picking them up after BTB2Life will receive matching wrist-bands that have a number on them. The number on the band will be posted in the Worship Center if you are needed during BTB2Life.


Then you’re off to the Preschool Worship Room where your preschooler will be greeted by their teacher. Preschoolers will join their friends for our large group, high-energy, review game and worship time.

After that, preschoolers head to their classrooms where we dig into God’s Word, the Bible, as preschoolers experience an exciting Bible Lesson. Then it’s off to our fun Discover Stations for hands-on learning.

Preschoolers will discover eternal truth through fun, interactive hands-on learning each week as they rotate through the stations.

Helpful Suggestions

Preschoolers are encouraged to leave Bibles, books, stuffed animals, etc at home. We don’t want any lost treasures in Discovery Land!

The adult/parent with the matching wrist-band needs to pick up preschoolers from the classroom – no exceptions, please.

We occasionally serve snacks in Discovery Land. If your preschooler has any food allergies, please pick up an allergy sticker at the Information Booth and attach it to their nametag.

It is our desire that each preschooler in Discovery Land “Connects with God and one another”; that is why we ask that you to make every effort to commit to coming to BTB2Life during the service hour for which you registered. Our dedicated volunteers are committed to building relationships with your children and helping them grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
