K – 2nd Grade

Welcome to the K-2 department of Discovery Land! Is your K – 2nd Grader ready to have fun while discovering exciting truths from God’s Word - the Bible?

In Discovery Land we believe in “Total Time Teaching”, so the fun and learning begins the moment you walk through our doors!

If you have never been to BTB2Life, stop by the family registration desk when you arrive.  They will assist you with everything you need.

If your student is already registered, their nametag will be posted on the nametag wall. (Please note that the tags are changed every service. If your student is attending a different service from the one they are registered at, please stop at the Information Booth for nametags.)

Then, your student will check in at the main area of Discovery Land. K-2nd Graders will join their friends in Discovery Land for our large group, high-energy, review game and worship time. After that, it’s off to our fun Discover Stations for hands-on learning.

Students will discover eternal truth through fun, interactive hands-on learning each week as they rotate through the stations. Finally, it’s back to the classroom as we dig into God’s Word where students will experience an exciting Bible lesson.

Helpful Suggestions

Each K-2nd Grader should bring a NIV Bible every Sunday (Be sure to label Bibles with the student’s name)

An adult/parent needs to pick up students from the classroom – no exceptions, please.

It is our desire that each Discovery Land student “Connects with God and one another”; that is why we ask that you to make every effort to commit to coming to BTB2Life during the service hour for which you registered. Our dedicated volunteers are committed to building relationships with their students and helping them grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our mid-week program, Awana Sparks on Tuesday night, reinforces the Bible truth learned on Sunday.  You can find more information and sign up online at www.discoveryland.org/awana
