Early Childhood (0-3yrs)

II Timothy 3:15 - And how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

In Early Childhood your child will begin the exciting journey of discovering eternal treasures that are found in God’s Word, the Bible. Children are never too young to learn so it is our goal to partner with you as we begin planting the seeds of truth in your little one at a very early age.

How do we do it?

Rockers - *Ages 6 weeks…

“Jesus Loves Me”

Your little ones will be cared for by our loving volunteers who are ready to rock, hold, and nurture your child.

Crawlers - *About 8 months…

“Look what God made!”

Children will be introduced to the “Surprise Bag.”  Inside our brightly colored bag children we will pull out and explore some of God’s incredible creations. Children will be excited to touch and feel these creations while leaders introduce them to the concept of “Look what God made!”

Walkers Room – *About 15 months…
“I know my Bible Basics”
Children will begin understanding the importance of God’s Word and how special His word is to their life.  Hands-On learning, fun songs, finger plays and more will help create a very interactive and teachable time each Sunday.

Topics will include:

  • The Bible… God’s Word is true! - Psalm 119:105
  • God made everything…Creation Story - Genesis 1:1
  • God loves you…all the time, sleeping, playing, happy, sad
    - 1 John 4:10
  • Who is Jesus…God’s Son, our Savior - John 3:16, Luke 2:11

Runners - Age 2+
“The Beginning of the Bringing the Bible to Life - Discovery Land’s Family Curriculum”
Children will begin our BTB2Life family curriculum. Each week your child will learn new Bible truths through hands-on learning, participating in exciting Bible lessons, songs, and more! Your child will continue to build on this curriculum as they grow in the Discovery Land ministries.

Clean and Tidy in Early Childhood!

We strive to keep our Early Childhood rooms clean and tidy! Below are our guidelines.

Rockers and Crawlers Rooms

  • Blankets and sheets are washed after every use.
  • We encourage parents to bring their own blankets and burp cloth
  • Diaper changing areas are sanitized after each use.
  • Toys are washed after a child has played with them.
  • Strollers, mats, swings, and large toys are sanitized after each use.

Walkers and Runners Rooms

  • Tables are sanitized before and after each use.

  • All children wash their hands before they are served a snack.
  • If a child puts a toy in his/her mouth, it is washed before it is shared with other children.
  • Large toys and mats are sanitized after each service.
