6th Grade
Welcome to 6th Grade!
We are excited to make this the most impactful year of Discovery Land for our students as they personalize their faith and grow spiritually to a new level. Keep an eye out for special events like “6th Grade road trips” during Awana and our 6th grade retreat this spring. All new and returning 6th graders are welcome to join us any time during the year as we are challenged to go “Xtreme” for Jesus.
Sundays – 8:00, 9:30, 11:00 “Get a Clue!”
In the fall 6th graders review the Old Testament greats, focus on the New Testament - full of inspiration - in the winter, and spend the spring quarter sharpening their spiritual lives.
After their final year in Discovery Land, 6th Graders will be able to talk through the timeline of the Bible, see it from God’s view and understand how they are an extension of HIStory.
Tuesday Nights
Don’t miss the 6th grade year of Awana!
Our mid-week program, Awana T&T (3rd-6th Graders) on Tuesday night, reinforces the Bible truth learned on Sunday.
6th Graders will have TONS of fun in Awana – between games, competitions and 6th Grade ROAD TRIPS – they won’t want to miss it!

Xtreme Sixth Grade Survivor Retreat
Friday and Saturday, March 9-10 - Cost: $75 - Lake Lundgren Bible Camp
Interested in going beyond just the comfortable, Christian life? Get away and be challenged to go the distance. Worship, scavenger huts, speakers, and Survivor-like activities will be a part of this two-day adventure. Parents, if you are interested in being a chaperone, please contact Laura Bricco.
